Smartwatches are always changing: When you look at your watch today, it can tell you a lot more than the time. Its many functions can tell you about your physical condition and if you need to rest: how many steps you take each day, how many calories you burn and whether you are sleeping well. In short, it is a great companion as you try to improve yourself and your body every day.

In recent years, PRIXTON has added a range of functions to its smartwatches that can provide you with vital information about the condition of your heart. You can see your blood pressure and heart rate.

The newest addition to our smartwatches means that you can know even more about how your heart is performing. You can now perform electrocardiograms.

Before we go any further, what is an electrocardiogram and what is it for?

An electrocardiogram is a test of your heart’s electrical activity. It analyses the rhythm, regularity of heartbeats, the size and position of the auricles and ventricles.

The electrical activity is read from your skin and is shown on a graph. The lines represent the electrical stimuli of the auricles and ventricles.

An electrocardiogram can detect blockages, arrhythmia or functional disorders.

How can we use them in our Smartwatch?

The Electrocardiogram (ECG) function is available with our SWB28 model.

You only have to download the “WearHeart” application from the Apple Store or Google Play. This will show you the patterns and changes in real time.

If this is not enough, the Smartwatch has many other functions: blood pressure, heart rate monitor, step and calorie counter, sleep quality…
